Welcome to KIDSCO!

We welcome you to Grand Valley MomCo and are delighted to welcome your child to the KidsCo program. The KidsCo program is excited to provide your child with an active, structured, enjoyable, and safe environment while you are able to participate in MomCo. The KidsCo ministry provides a caring atmosphere for children which:
Provides loving, quality care for each child. Mothers are most vulnerable when their children are concerned, so this care is an excellent witness of Christ’s love.
KidsCo workers are committed to the importance of providing quality child care for the MomCo program. They may be women, men or teenagers that have submitted a background check. Kids workers demonstrate a love for young children and an understanding of their eternal worth.
If you will be having children in KidsCo please note we will not be offering childcare for children 6+ of age, although this may change if we find more care providers. Bringing infants to hold during our MomCo meetings is highly encouraged! There are lots of mommas at the meeting ready to hold and love on your sweet babe.

Pickup and Drop-off
KidsCo drop-off begins at 9:00 a.m. and pickup should happen no later than 11:20 a.m. We want to respect the time of our childcare workers and volunteers so we ask that you be prompt when picking up your children. You are encouraged to continue with play dates, lunch, or fellowship once you have picked up your child and their belongings.
General KidsCo Guidelines:
- While we love your children, we do not love germs! Please do NOT bring your child to KidsCo if they have had a fever, cough, runny nose, sore throat, diarrhea, have been vomiting, or have been on an antibiotic within 24 hours. If you are in doubt, please keep your child home.
- Inform the KidsCo Coordinator of allergies or other health issues that may arise or be of concern to your child.
- Label your child’s necessities whenever possible, leave diapers and things in a bag with the child’s name on it.
- Communication is key. Please communicate with the KidsCo Coordinator and childcare workers to inform us of changes that your child might be experiencing that might help with their care.
- Children are provided a light, low sugar, peanut free snack such as crackers, cheerios, goldfish and/or water. Inform us of food allergies.
- Infants are allowed in MomCo meetings, and sometimes toddlers and older children, although we ask to utilize KidsCo whenever possible to maintain the atmosphere of the meetings.
- Leave all toys (unless a security items) at home.
Have more questions? Feel free to ask and we’ll be happy to help!
